An Elegant Garden Wedding in Aburi

The brief
Efua and Kwabena wanted an outdoor wedding that felt relaxed and romantic, with plenty of greenery and soft florals, but with the polish of a formal reception. Half their guests were travelling from the UK and the US, so clear logistics mattered as much as the styling.

Our approach
We chose a hillside garden venue with a covered fallback space and built the design around blush, ivory and sage. Long banquet tables replaced rounds to create a family-style feel. We coordinated shuttles from Accra, a welcome pack for overseas guests and a rain plan agreed with every vendor two weeks before the day.

The result
The weather held, the ceremony started on time and guests still talk about the candlelit dinner under the trees. The couple told us they barely looked at a phone all day — which is exactly the point.
